Sounds like you had a pretty rough time with them. I found them pretty enjoyable for the most part. The connection issues were only bothersome for the first couple minutes and then they would more or less go away. My biggest annoyance was the driver flex but I'm the only person to note it so far. Even with a poor seal they sounded good, though bass was nerfed quite a bit. I'm still using them and may update the review later if my opinions change. I don't feel a week is enough time with a product like this.

I did have trouble with these, but I only put about 9 hours of listening on them and used a variety of sources. Most folks will just use their phone, and may not know if their phone has aptX. I don't think these are really usable without low-latency transmission and strong signal strength from the transmitter. I usually put in about 50 hours on reviews. I knew how I felt about these pretty quick, and given that they don't allow corded operation, seeing if there were any changes from burn-in is difficult. It would take a lot of time and repeat listens, and would have taken the review beyond the time horizon that was desired for publication. If my review schedule wasn't already so full. I'd put these on burn-in and see what happens. As it is right now, I own a much more satisfying Bluetooth headphone, it just isn't one I'd personally take to the gym, and has a bit of a sound leakage problem. The Ausdom isn't very discreet, but it does sound very good. I'm not completely convinced by the cordless concept. A neck cable is often a benefit, as you can have a volume control, better amplification and a larger battery.

I think that BT cables for high-end headphones like the upcoming Lear BTC-1 and the Trinity Audio BT cables might be the future of Bluetooth.
