I think it's excellent base for pairing with higher end DAC, it plays every high res file you throw at it and has massive amount of storage. Add DAC and you have a DAP with excellent ergonomics, UI and SQ

Nice review. Good to see a manufacturer make an old fashioned single-purpose music player instead of a swiss army knife approach to a DAP! Very refreshing in this age of do-it-all DAPs that cost a small fortune as they include so many features that some of us don't want.
