Thanks for the review. I'm still on the fence with these, mainly due to the price and the fact they don't seem to excel in any particular area. Being an all rounder is good too of course but I just have a feeling if I buy these they might not necessarily outperform other similar priced iems. If they weren't so gorgeous I probably wouldn't even consider buying them but that color is so nice.

@crabdog I understand what you mean but I find it to be the opposite in reality. They actually outperform every sub $50 IEM I've heard and pretty much even all sub $100 ones as well (the exception being the ones I've compared the with above). When I say that they don't excel in any particular area that is also in comparison with more expensive offerings. I'd be hard presses to find any sub $50 IEM with better bass or maybe also midrange tbh.

I personally prefer to have an IEM that is very enjoyable as an allrounder rather than one that might have a great midragne but very harsh treble (as an example).  As always YMMV

Thanks again for the feedback. I kinda knew I'd have to get them in the end. Will probably pull the trigger next month. I know what you mean by something good with harsh treble - like the Z03A. They had great potential but were ruined by sibilant highs.

You sure the treble is missing peter:stuck_out_tongue:, i have enough treble on my pair with extensive heavy duty burn in:sunglasses:

@crabdog LOL, isn't that the way it always end in here

@mochill I've got about 150 hours on them so far but will definitely continue to use them so time will show :)

I think they excel in soundstage width, which makes them very nice on orchestral stuff. They are way above average on soundstage width. I've got a review pair that I'm listening to now. I think they are good, but I'm not sure that they outperform the RHA s500i. This is mainly because I find the bass too warm, I'm more an analytical sound type, though, so many people will love the warm bass.
