Great review as usual silica gel! Love the detailed shots you took.

As someone who used the momentum 2's I am really curious as to how these would stack up.

Seems like sennheiser has really upped the game with these

Great review with some useful details whic cannot be find elsewhere.

Would you mind to mention a word or two regarding TWS 3 difference?

I would be interested to know is there some less bass bleeding in new model than with previous model and are vocals and bass less pillowy and less rounded sounded in new model? Is there some more tightness and definition the sound in newm model?

Thank you

@Ozzy B It's rather the opposite of what you might think.

It has a bit more emphasis on the mid-bass, and 8kHz has been slightly weakened to make the sound a little bit warmer, smoother, and less fatiguing.
You'll still be able to hear sparkling treble since it has generous amount of upper treble, and the sponge damper from the eartip has been removed.

Thank you SilicaGel.

I am surprised as TWS3 already have very warm and rounded character. I find them pretty boring listen. Cannot imagine the newer model is even more on that side.

It looks like the sound stays as dark as it was in TW3(

You're right, the overall sound hasn't changed much from its predecessor.

The "Pop" EQ preset looks pretty compliant to the target between 20Hz - 2KHz! I haven't heard the TW4, but I would probably try that out as the first thing before getting into manual EQ.

@SilicaGel , thanks for the detailed review. Have you tried to EQ the TW4 to the Harman Target 2019 v2?

According to your measurements, The Pop EQ complies with the target up to 2KHz, but it's challenging to fix the 4-6KHz range with the 5-band EQ of the Sennheiser app, and the earbuds sound still a bit dark compared to what I am used to (Truthear RED or Blessing 3). I was wondering if you managed to get a more Harman-compliant EQ with the app and measure it. It'd be great if you could share. Cheers
