I would actually consider the crispy treble a pro, not a con though! That is one thing that I absolutely love about ie800. Great review btw!

Nice, simple and quick impressions, couldn't agree more about the price, most people don't realize how cheap they have become. I bought mine for around $400 USD a few years ago, not as stunning as your find, but easily the best performing earphone I've ever heard for that price (though the New Primacy is growing on me).
