Just wanted to say that not all models of the HD 800 come with the 3.5 mm to 6.35 mm adapter (mine didn't). Actually this is the first time I even heard of it/seen it on an HD 800 unboxing.

Surprised to see that the HD 800S looks actually quite nice (judging from your video) - in most press release photos, I didn't like the looks of it.

But the "sound" part is somewhat brief... I want to know more about the tonal balance, especially the bass presense. I find it the main problem of HD800 which keeps these wonderfull cans to be the undisputed King of dynamic headphones.
