LOD is a trade-off for using a proprietary connector. For those who wants pretty much the same sound but smaller and lighter and micro usb - clip+
also for lod you need to buy the connector separately , right?

same for clip+ but it's easily compensated by the rockbox EQ

The LOD is bit costly when compared to budget ipod LODs though.
So I was right with low impedance. I will try EQ for sub bass.

Wonder why the Fiio LOD cable has been discontinued. It's almost impossible to find outside EBAY. It was pretty cheap too.
