Great review.
I own these too and they sound exactly as you described, the price/performance ratio is crazy but still I was kinda disappointed that i didnt get the KC06A .
 
The Ostry KC06A sounds more pleasant overall since they killed most of the peaks and increased the bass quantity. Looks fancier too.

It definitely looks fancier but it sounds artificial compared to KC06, IMO.
I had both then I sold KC06A because of colorization..

That's exactly my thoughts. There is only three bad things about KC06. It's soundstage, fit and isolation. Although it is the best if you consider the price.
 
BTW you can improve fit and isolation with Spinfits.

Looks like these are detailed, but pretty thin based on the bass description. I prefer more full sounding drivers, but these seem great for detail retrieval
