Excellent review. Too bad "Musician," has notoriously bad customer support as noted by several reviewers and end users alike. Hopefully "Musician," can remedy those issues and then they will be a true player in Hifi. Until then it is a roll of the dice if you have an issue with your device.

I appreciate that comment - it's the sort of thing I don't get to experience from a reviewer perspective. In this case I dealt exclusively with the distributor who is well-known for great support. But even in the cases where I deal directly with the company, I never know if I'm getting special treatment or if that's the standard level of service. Going through a local dealer could help mitigate that somewhat depending on the scenario but I agree that Musician needs to get it together if they intend on sticking around. Because the dealers/distributors will get sick of that too if it ends up being a problem for them.

@project86 I suspect you are getting "white glove service," from your distributor which is great because that service allows you to clearly focus on the equipment vs the buying, shipping and service experience (assuming all goes well prior to getting to you). With that being said there were like reviewers that received devices from "Musician," who received defective devices and these reviewers did their darnedest to resolve but "Musician," went dark on them so they had to 100% fend for themselves. I hope "Musician," sees your in-depth review and reports back on what they have done to increase product support. AS you know we Hifi nerds can tolerate a lot in search of improvements but when a product has zero support for the elite reviewers it means doomsday for us mere mortals. Just sayin. Regardless, love the reviews: keep them coming.
