Nice review. Do you think these would be a good portable IEM for outdoors use?

It can be but its cable is not exactly strong, if you can take care of that, its a good earphone to go out with. With right tips you will have good isolation too.

Hello friend I really enjoyed your review :)
Do you think these would respond favorably to a bass boost? I'm not looking for basshead levels, but I do like "impactful" bass, and it seems like after reading all the reviews the bass can be considered lean.
Thank you very much if you ever find the time to answer - and even if you don't :^)

Hey, I am not of those who don't reply.
Just checked as you asked about it, bass is lean indeed, but it responds well to EQ if your amplifier has na EQ system indise or if your device has a good amp chip inside.
It does gets enough rumble and slam but still not much air.
With the EQ applied, it still holds on to its other attributes firmly. No distortion or anything.
Cheers, i hope it helped.:grinning:

Are those Westone foam tips that you put on the A-151?

Oh yeah, I read your review for the second time and realized that you mentioned it at the very beginning. But it seems like you can't push those tips deep enough, have you tried the silicon Star tips? I love those Westone tips but I'm worried if they aren't inserted properly then probably we're not getting the finest performance.
