What do you mean when you said, "This has slightly hindered the over-the-ear use of that bud, but I can certainly live with it." Do you mean that bud became slightly uncomfortable?

The Superglue I applied has stiffened up the cable right where it exits the plastic sheath coming from the MMCX connector. As a result, it does not bend nearly as easily, to fit around my ear at that point. And just messing with it, I actually have a little extra stiff area as a result, which extends up the cable about 1/4" above the sheath. The result of this DOES provides a nice bend. This now seems to be better as a result.
Some have suggested a heat-treated sheath at that point, which I think would provide a good bend.
I will watch this, and if it does prove beneficial, I will probably do the other bud, and modify my write up. Please let me know if you need more clarification. Thanks.
