Point taken on the wire. The last set of HiFiMan's I touched were HE-560's and they still had the coax cable.

Nice review... And yes, thank you for your honesty. I really needed views on these. I was about to drop em - for the money it felt like a steal. But well, now we know. And thank you for giving us the comparison with 9500s. I think I'd rather just try them up sometime.
