Wow. Really cute candy-colored IEMs. I'm particularly interested in the Galaxy, because of that glittery finish.
Any word on pricing on these?

Great read, by the way. Very interesting. I'm looking forward to their official release.

Vsonic also don't get good reviews in China, maybe people don't like their local goods...
And how much should the Galaxy cost?
Probably one of the best IEMs I've ever seen.

@altrunox & @thatBeatsguy The Joinhandmade.com site is down for a revamping but if I remember the Galaxy is $80 but best to check in a day or two on their site.

U$80?! Must resist! Really nice price for the build quality, package and sound.
I hope that them get the attention now, and nice review btw.

@hakoona
So basically you want to say we should buy from another manufacturer which we never heard about, no information, no product for showing purpose, never let people outside these community judging? That is somehow fishy IMO. Seriously guys, if you want to join the market, make it big not pull people down.

Thank @adrenalight and  @xxxfbsxxx for your circumstantial comment, the jelly ear does suck in playing any genre of music. I'm the one who made the first impression about JE, and trust me, The SQ was really bad, we expected from the improvement when JE came back in commercial verson and there was nothing changed, it still suck. My friend who is not a professional in headphones said JE had been a bit better than Moxpad x3 which ~ $20.

I am VietNamese and also the ones who bought Jelly Ear from the beginning. As i brought here by the link Joinhandmade team posted on their fanpage. And wow, i am quite pressing with the above comments that i have to register an id here. From my personal think, Head-fi should not become another version of Voz, like in Viet Nam, where just a few audio user see theirself as audiophiles and have the right to make false information and statements. This turn out to prove them self as a "truth-maker" than to give a objective and true reviews and ideas as they should be. I belive that, one product worth money or not should be depend on the buyers. As for me, this Jelly Ear is a handmade earphones, come with comfortable sound and for me, it is totally worthy. That's it and that is enough. For those my Vietnamese friends here, please stop try to fake your individual hatred to affect a reliable and high reputation community.

@rally smooth: We are not the first ones to bash the products in head-fi, we all know that each user has different taste, but please take a look at @Polerianate post. He called reviewers in other forums (outside of head-fi) with negative comments are a-holes and have never seen a more than $15-worth, although I see NO NEGATIVE COMMENTS before his post. It's unreasonable. He IS the "truth-maker" you mentioned.

After reading a post on Voz, I decided to register here to talk to you guys. The point here is that it's handmade, so $80-$100 is a reasonable price. Although I don't have a demo version of Jelly Ear, but the commercial version is really fine to me. I first bought it because it's a handmade audio product, that's all. And I was surprised by the SQ it gives in Acoustic and Jazz. Although it doesn't have much bass in general, I still think those comments above are more "personal" than being constructive criticisms.

Ofc everyone have different taste and perceived value, but being handmade is not a very good excuse for having bad sound quality. The build quality is overall acceptable, and being handmade is, rather nice, and the look depends on personal preference. After a brief listening session, I find its sound is quite lackluster, considering the price. The bass lacks impact and it is very hard to find sub bass. Mid range is so-so, and I am fully disagreed with the review here, I find it lacks of detail and not very clear, and not by any mean fast and articulate. And the high is just not there, for me it seriously lacks treble extension and detail. Imaging and soundstage is just below average. Comparing with other product in the same price range, like re400, or even cheaper one like the TTPOD T1, or the Vsonic VC02, it just cannot compete. I wanted to give it another try but after question were raised about the drivers' origin in the community, the company has recalled the product from every stores out there so it was impossible. I don't have any comment about the Galaxy because I don't have the chance try it yet.
Overall, I must conclude that it sounds pretty bad for the price. If someone want to experience something new and wanna try out a handmande product, or is fond of its look, well go and try this one. But if you want something affordable and performing well, there is just simply plenty of better choices out there. The choice is your to made.
And @rally smooth, no one is faking anything, the truth is it really does sounds bad for the price, and you are god damn right, after the company's dodgy actions and try to delete any negative reviews and feedback, I really do dislike the product and the company itself.
