Strange or pure coincidence... last time i viewed this page re the iBasso DX90 the previous reviewer gave it half a star!!

hmm... don´t know which one you mean cause 2 people gave it half a star. One of them had problems with micro SD card and the other one was utterly disappointed in iBasso dx90. Dont know much details, to me iBasso DX90 is overall high quality product. Hard to imagine somebody would give it less than at least three stars...

@marhol Agree with what you said. I think the dx90 is a great product and amazing for its price. So long as you don;'t pair it with a neutral iem or headphone, it's quite awesome.

Hey, I was wondering, what do "high gains" or "medium gain" mean?
ie : iBasso DX90 is handling DT 990 very well on high gain. Its still fine on medium gain, but on high gain its just better. Everything is improved - bass quality, dynamics, soundstage etc. On high gain I can get comfortable listening at around 210-220 volume level.
