Great write up. Quick question, Lin. How would you say this compares to JDS Labs' C5D? I was planning on picking that up, but if the Zero MK2 is as good, I might as well opt for it instead. Thanks.

Thankyou very much for this review. Actually, this review from you is so good that i'm suspicious. Are you sure you don't work for iBasso?
Anyway, it seems too good for this price, i'm definitely gonna have to try this, it might be just what i'm looking for. The fact that they include the OTG cable makes it even better value for money. There was no OTG cable included with my E17K. I have the new E17K and after extensive listening i've put it back in the box and i'm gonna sell it. The E17K is extremely nice but the warm sound gets sickening after a while.

Nicely written review, well-worded and thoughtful explanations about the sound performance which we needed to know. Your review is so thorough that it's tempting to just buy the D-zero mkII without auditioning it LOL.
Are you sure you don't work for iBasso? Sorry, but this review almost sounds to good to be true.

It just shows with performance so close to the DX90, then clearly iBasso could have just added an audio player section for another $100 and then we could have had a world-class DAP for $220, but no, iBasso is charging $440, doing the same trick as Apple corp. The iPhone 6 costs $245 to manufacture and yet they sell it for $1050. Shocking!

@Digital7
I don't work for iBasso and feel free to think whatever you want.

Instead of coming to this review and posting your suspicions which you have nothing to back up with, I suggest you take your crap elsewhere.
