Great review, thank you. Impressive that you can output DSD1024 with HQ Player. What PC config. do you have to achieve this level of "bliss"?

Excellent review! I’ve been waiting to hear some impressions on this pc. As a proud and happy owner of HoloAudio’s Serene and May KTE pcs., it doesn’t surprise me at all that this is an incredible solid state headphone amp. As I mentioned to an audio buddy of mine, if these HoloAudio models had ‘Mark Levinson’ or some other renowned name on the faceplate, they would cost THOUSANDS more, based on the crazy-good engineering and parts used.

Fantastic review and I echo all of your sentiments. The Bliss is the best solid state amp I’ve ever used and makes me want for nothing. Love this thing!!

Well put on how you hear the Bliss. Your use of the word "Liquid" is perfect Liquid is a great word to define how Bliss does differentiate from the Oor/Hypsos stack. I love both and the Bliss does have more liquidity vs Ferrum stack. The FS has more clarity (micro detail) IMHO. Thank you for the great review.

@Rayon thank you for this review - I've been waiting for it. Wish you had a chance to compare with other currently hyped amps like Nimbus US4/US5, Enleum, and other popular ones like ifi Pro iCan or some more expensive THX based amps. There are other headphones than Susvara  - but I understand why you are targeting those exclusivly in review.

Nice write up. It'd be interesting to see someone compare it to the Enleum.

@LoryWiv my CPU is 8700k. This might be interesting, so I'll comment: My CPU is running at 250-310% (using 3 cores out of 6 available). I do get lag if I watch videos at the same time, but even then CPU doesn't go much higher. My gut feeling is that some CPU cache is the bottleneck, not the actual speed of the CPU (nor RAM as I have a lot of unused RAM). Also please note that I'm using the somewhat unconventional "DSD7 256+fs" -modulator, which is much more lightweight than ASDMEC(v2) that many people use. When comparing at DSD256 I personally preferred this one and I'm not complaining that this being more lightweight, I can also run DSD1024 :)

I wish that too @alekc . I would love to compare it to other things as well. However I don't have that much excess cash that I could become a TOTL collector, nor do I have good access to such items as I live in Finland where the possibilities are... more limited. My road to this setup has been basically endlessly reading reviews and buying and selling stuff blind from classifieds. However it's been great that head-fi has been making this possible. This way I've been able to tap into wider collective of European head-fiers and 2nd hand market has made it much less painful (though far from painless, R.I.P. my wallet) to try out things by buying them.

@Mobiustereo I have the same feeling. Yes, Holo products are expensive, but I think they are still high value. Bliss is actually wrestling in the same league with Niimbus, which is 50% more expensive. May DAC is competing with DACs that are twice (or more) as expensive (like DAVE, Mola Mola, M1SE etc). Holo is a passion project. I'm quite sure that at some point it will have to do one of the 3 things: 1) rise prices, 2) change corporate structure to meet the growing demand or 3) face the faith of Decware where they have 12m+ queue. Personally I just really hope that they never drop their philosophy of "statement products at reasonable prices". Reasonable meaning that things are expensive because of expensive parts and extensive R&D, not "because it's TOTL".
