I am also moving from BTR7 to R3II (on the delivery). Nevertheless it is strange dedicated AAA amp doesn't result in better BTR7 sounding.

I'm going the other direction. I've sold my HibyOS players and going back to my Android phone + BTR3K.

I like Hiby hardware, but they are not good software engineers. I find the stability and UI of their players frustrating.
