So you returned your PS500's in favor of the RS1i, not a bad move.  In fact you've got me thinking about giving the RS1i an audition since I've recently purchased a pair of HD800's and while comparing them to the PS500 I find the Grado to be a little to dark.  I think I want something closer in sound to my 325is and the RS1i's may be it.
