Fiio has always been pretty responsive to feedback and releasing periodical updates.

Good review mate! I have two questions hoping you could answer it.
How is the Tidal streaming quality compared to other Android phones? Compared to SONY NW-ZX2 is X7 a better choice since I need a DAP that I would play Tidal / Spotify as well.

It's noticeable enough comparing it with my Vivo XShot. Haven't got the chance to test it side-by-side with other Android phones nor ZX2.

I would encourage fiio to add apt-x or something like Sonys LDAC. As mentioned above bluetooth was just an extra feature for convenience sake. Some devices from Sony will stream at 3x the quality of the standard rate.

@rdsreference I agree with you about the differences in streaming quality is apparent as compared since I own a few Bluetooth devices with apt-x codec.
