A lot of people got burned by purchasing the X3 which really does sound great but with the file management problems make it an expensive 8 GB player or expensive paperweight. I know I for one will wait a long long time before purchasing the X5 until I am sure they are done beta testing the new units with the consumer....

@atwaterkent - the file management is easily solved (even in the early stages) by simply using folder mode - and having artist / album well sorted, and files named properly. I'm pretty confident that once they get the library-by-tag sorted - it will be even better. But even if it stayed as it is now - I'm still pretty sure I'd get one. For $350 it's a steal.

I also like how clear the photos of the different screens are. There appears to be a solid
