Thanks a lot, and especially for comparing to q15, because i myself was thinking to get q15 but as i don't see it very compact and more desktop device for transportation possibility - k9 akm makes more sence as it is higher tier device with still better sound. Bang for buck for those who has such as topping older dac/amps and don't want repete with analytical type of sound, but likes warm analogish flavour for pure musical enjoyment. I think this amp will be good match for neutral and bright leaning hifiman planars such as xs, ananda, or arya (any version). Hope to test it soon.
Thank you for very needed and good review.

I agree with your description.

I would add that the Bluetooth implementation is terrible; it suffers from jittering.

I actually bought the Q15 after reading your review, and I'm really enjoying it. Your review of the Q15 convinced me, and your review of the K9 has me curious about the K9 again.

@MariusAB Thank you !
@iscorpio71 Oh, I guess where I live and test the K9 AKM Bluetooth section is not as "crowded" with signal like where you use your device, I don't experience any audio jitter / stuttering at all.
@youngjin87 Ohoo, thank you for trusting my review, its an honor, The Q15 is still the more versatile device of the two. It can be used for portable use and desktop use thanks to its desktop mode, but if we talk about pure audio performance, the K9 AKM pretty much has the same characteristic of the Q15 but with more capable technicalities. That's why I write the K9 AKM pretty much Q15 on steroid haha!
