Excellent Review. Thanks for taking the time to do it. I agree with pretty much everything you said although for me the Truth version sounds just dandy and i never feel that it's too bright. I haven't heard non truth to compare it with though. I like what you said about being near reference but not boring. Exactly. Timbre and tonal accuracy are great on these.

@yalper : it was a very short term loaner with enough time for burn in and first impression and general description/comparison.  But if I would have to do a fast comparison, it's a hybrid with a bass and treble quality/quantity reminiscent of full size SoundMagic HP150 and Beyer T5p, and upper mids reminding me a lot of ATH-IM03 (w/silver-plated cable).  And soundstage wider/deeper than Havi B3 Pro I (when Havis paired up with C5)
