You fellas weren't kidding at all. Stretched them overnight, and that did the trick. I prefer them now to even my K550 and D5000. I'm absolutely loving their sound!
Do you know how good the warrenty/customer service of the Jaycar rebrands? I'm afraid to buy it because if it breaks I probably have to send it back to australia. Also Do you think it is worth the extra price to buy the Brainwavz or should I go with the Jaycar?
I'm sorry jojexy, but I don't know how good Jaycar's warranty/customer service is. I'd try asking in the respective discussion thread(s), however. I can tell you this much, when it comes to warranty, I'm always willing to pay the extra cash, as the added peace of mind is priceless, as far as I'm concerned. Hope that helps.
Well... I went with the jaycar's anyway because it was half the price of the Brainwavz so I could just buy another one if brake mine. I was reading through the Jaycar website and it only has a 3 month warrenty which is a bummer but the build quality is magnificent according to reviews so I feel fairly safe about it. I haven't received the headphones yet but I have a few questions.
1. Are the headphone pads that come with the Jaycars comfortable or sufficient enough to enjoy?
2. How much change would it make in terms of sound quality, soundstage, or comfort if I place the shure velour pads on the jaycars?
3. This might be a little of topic but are there any difference between the shure srh940 pads, srh1440 pads, and the srh1880 pads?
Thank you for replying to my previous message and I am hoping for an another reply!
