Kudos Curra for the FAQ section ! Especially on the subject of SUPER - What all the explanations and words could not express, just a few lines did !! Great work !..

UncleFestive, its actually good you started that thread - in the end, I personally cant help but supporting Audio GD when customers still crib after getting full refund including shipping for a product, and goes on further to make money on the expense of the good services of the seller. Most...

    Suggest me a DAC Kit

Check this link out, the end product is great, but the only problem with Zero DAC is reliability and QC factor, I am not aware how much it has been taken care in the new Zero model ; http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f6/fra...-heart-370985/

PJ, glad you finally received the working REF1 !.. Seems like the transporter is the one to beat as a transport - I agree with you about a good transport taking out the best of the REF1 or any DAC for that matter, maybe a CD7 Vs Transporter is something we can look forward in the near future..

    Review of Audio-GD DAC-19MK3

Patu, Thanks for the interesting review. I myself found the DAC19SE on the warmer side of neutral, I guess its the A-GD signature, but this isn't the case with REF1 and it took me no time choosing between both. The fact that you still haven't decided between the two does say a lot about the...

    Audio-gd Phoenix balanced headphone amp.

I really think Kingwa should let Pacific Valve take care of the US market, in fact he has for the first time indicated officially in his website that they are official agents of Audio GD - ºÎÇ컪Ô*´´ÒôÏì, by giving them enough inventories to take care of such issues. I am quite sure, either this...

Sorry, I meant the power regulators are bolted/screwed at the bottom of the chassis with thermal compound and there is no heat sink as such. Anyway, what are your initial impressions about REF1/Phoenix combo, even though you are listening through RCA and not CAST?

Tosehee, are you sure you haven't placed your Phoenix PSU upside down??.. I don't have a Phoenix (yet..) but by looking at the design, it looks like the power regulators are heat sinked at the bottom of the PSU chassis (same as REF1).. so that is where the heat should be more.. (correct me if...

I agree with you, the REF1 - CD7 is an awesome combo. So much that I bought 3 extra lasers and even the CD drive so that I don't have to worry for the next 5 years as far as transport is concerned. Btw, According to my experience, its takes around 20-30 mins (after its switched ON) before CD7...
