Hisoundaudio ROCOO BA - Superior Hi-Fi player for Ciem's & Iem's
I am tempted to get the ROCOO BA, but i am also interested in the Studio V 3rd Anniversary. The problem with the Studio V 3rd Anniversary is while it may sound better, but i have read that there is some hiss with certain IEM's like westone 4 (which i bought last week) and i am the kind of person...- Hyl

looking for high quality portable DAP
My old cowon s9 and sony x10 died due to some unfortunate accidents, so i recently bought a colorfly c3. While the soundquality was decent, the UI was so clunky and the popping noise after it changes a track annoyed me so much that i am looking for a new, portable and good sounding DAP with...- Hyl

I also have deleted the songs on the c3, although my computer is set not to display hidden files. So i am sure i have not deleted anything important aside from those songs- Hyl

REVIEW - COLORFLY C3
I got mine today and the thing that i don't like about the c3 is the "clicking" sound that it makes every time when you go either forward or back one track.- Hyl

Custom IEM choice (only a few choices due to country restrictions )
I have finally decided on getting a pair of custom IEM's after using universals for so long and i don't think that there are better choices for universals than the SM3 and ATH-ck100 that I own. Because i live in the Netherlands, i am limited to only a few iem's that i can buy. I don't...- Hyl

Where to repair an ATH CK-100
I am not sure if the driver or cable has been damaged, but the left nozzle doesn't seem to produce any sound anymore. I have from bought it from a webshop in japan, but like i have said it went bankrupt last year.- Hyl

Westone 4 Impressions and Reviews Thread
I think i will pass on this one and i will probably directly go for the es5 instead. Because from what i have read the w4 is a minor upgrade compared to the um3x, seeing that i already own the um3x and sm3 and don't think that i need more similar sounding iem's- Hyl

Sony X1051 too forward, causing sibilance?
The sony x serie will cause sibilance for sensitive iems, so try adding an impedance adapter or cable will the sibilance disappear but the sound quality will suffer a little.- Hyl

The best Audiophile MP3 Player?
I don't have a s:flo yet (waiting for the next batch somewhere in november), is the ui really that bad? I know that the ui from the hm-801 is pretty much basic and that's already a downgrade compared to my cowon s9 and sony x1050, i hope that that the ui isn't worse than the hm-801.- Hyl

Need new IEMs, all suggestions are welcome.
The earsonics sm3 might also be a good choice for you. I have only received mine a few minutes ago, so i can't comment on the sound yet, but some people say that it's better than the um3x.- Hyl

Sony X or Hifiman 602
I haven't heard the hm-602, but i do own both the hm-801 and sony x1050 and i would say that the sound quality seems so much better (still burning in the game amp for my iems) than the sony, but it loses on lot's of other things. Like hitmanx said, the hm-602 is thicker and thus less...- Hyl

help with Choosing Again!?
My mistake on the triple driver part. I didn't say that the isolation was poor in general but that the isolation of the ie8 is poor compared to all of the other iems that i own. As for the flaws :I think that ie8 is too laid back for my taste, the ie8 will probably sound not that good...- Hyl
