600 ohm headphones
Thanks, but are there any headphones other than the Beyerdynamics that have a nominal impedance of 600 ohms? Google search seems to suggest that they are about the only ones, but I might be wrong. Regards CK- ckng

So who likes their K501s?
Bought a pair of K501s used for a pretty nice price (~US$88). Really loved it's naturalness, extremely good midrange and large soundstage. The lack of bass didn't bother me at all, though I was previously listening via a pair of HD600s which I had on loan. And despite what some people say it...- ckng

Hilary Hahn Bach Concertos (Hybrid SACD)
Thanks for the write up Welly. I just bought the redbook version of this CD (I don't have a SACD player, and no point buying SACD to play just the redbook ) and it's indeed excellent in terms of both Hahn's performance as well as the recording. Regards CK -

Op-Amp sound differences?
Thanks to all for the replies. I am more of a classical person, so I had tested with a couple of Reference Recordings HDCDs, a regular EMI classical CD and a couple of music tracks on the RR Test & Burn-In CD. Probably let the thing burn in a bit before I try again, but the posts more or less...- ckng

Op-Amp sound differences?
Hi, Sorry if this has been posted, stuff like that can be hard to search for. Are the sound differences between Op-Amps supposed to be very subtle? I swapped the OPA2132P in my META42 with 2 x OPA637 and couldn't hear much differences (if any). Is it my ears? I am using AKG 271S for...- ckng
