Looking an affordable DAC, some specific requirements
I need a DAC which I can use with headphones as well as a pair of Audioengine A2s. I used to have a uDAC which fit my needs well since it mutes the lineout when I plug my headphones in, and I can adjust the lineout with the volume knob on the front (very important!). I'd like to find something...- Oya?

Changing pads on PX100 to reduce sound leakage?
You'd still get lots of leakage from the back of the drivers though as they are open.- Oya?

HD-25-1 II, HD-25 II, HD-25 C II, HD-25-13- II what's the diffrence?
They're identical save for the coiled cable. As for the price I guess it depends where you live, when I bought my HD25 I could buy the regular version for almost $200 cheaper than the coiled version!- Oya?

HD-25-1 II, HD-25 II, HD-25 C II, HD-25-13- II what's the diffrence?
The first two should be identical, the third one has a coiled cable, and the last one has 600Ω impedance (the others have 75Ω). If you see anything else with HME or HMD in place of HD, those have microphones. I think you want the first one.- Oya?

RE Koss ESP950 parts
I'm just wondering if any ESP950 owners could let me know where/how they order ear pads, replacement parts etc. for their set. I emailed Koss about ordering pads since they don't have a distributor in NZ and they emailed me back telling me to send in my entire system (to their HQ in US...- Oya?

Just wanted to bump this thread as I'm thinking of buying this. I just started playing around with the demo but haven't really read through the manual or started tweaking things. Do you have any favorite presets?- Oya?

Battlefield 2 Bad Company 2: with Grado HF2s
I'm getting a very specific freezing issue on BC2, was wondering if any of you guys have had it. It's a hard freeze that needs a reboot, accompanied with looping sound. So the posted solution is I have to remove any on-board audio (I use the Realtek HD controller that's on my mobo) and get a...- Oya?

E90 power supply
I'm wondering if anyone could tell me what voltages the E90 amp can tolerate. I see that the stock wall-wart is a 9V 1A and lots of people seem to use a 12V power supply, but I've only got a 13.7V 2.2A power supply here to use. I have no idea what the guts of the amp is rated for although I've...- Oya?

DIY DAC/amp, drive bay
I think I'll give the Szekeres a try with 9V. Or maybe use a really efficient regulator which doesn't shave off too much. How should I go about modifying the grounding scheme of the design on the HeadWize page to make it work inside my PC? Quote: Originally Posted by AndrewFischer...- Oya?

DIY DAC/amp, drive bay
If I wanted to skip the DAC and just use my sound card output, can you guys think of any suitable amp designs that'd fit in a drive bay? I could always try building a DAC in a second bay later. And thanks for all the advice regarding the power! EDIT: Also another thing I'm curious about...- Oya?

DIY DAC/amp, drive bay
I'm thinking about putting a DIY DAC/amp into a drive bay, like a Scythe Kama or those sound controllers that come with some sound cards, and powered from a USB header. But I don't really know what I should gut to use as a chassis. I was thinking of using an emptied out optical drive but then...- Oya?
