Beyerdynamic DT 150

Fallen asleep a few times with the DT 150's on, work well as bed headphones for me.

Lian-Li PC-7FN, had it since last August, was a major upgrade from my previous case (which was horrid) couple of comparison pictures (Old case on right, New case on left) :-  

AKG K518 DJ, I think they look pretty smart (although haven't seen anyone else wearing a pair so take this with a pinch of salt lol)   Also I have seen Sennheiser HD25-1 II being used in public, they look okay too.

Philips SHP-2000 and... the earbuds that came with the Sansa Fuze I have, that's it.   The Philips were worth the £12 I bought them for, just not in the comfort department...

You could also consider the Beyerdynamic DT 150 although they might not be good for you for long-term periods (they are for me, however) not to mention they sound very good, too.

DT 150 have a deep and smooth bass just like you said you wanted, and the treble is rolled-off and sounds good to me (I don't like sibilant treble at all), the problem is though that you'll be running these out of an ipod, so for that reason you would probably want to go with the DT 770 Pro as...

Beyerdynamic DT 150, pretty much everything you've described there would lead me to believe they would be a very good choice. I had a similar experience when comparing my DT 231 Pro, it has too much treble emphasis for my liking and also the treble seemingly masked the bass, and my Senn HD...

I use my DT 150s for everything, since I find their sound to be closer to what I like than my other 3 pairs I guess that means I don't fit into any group (which is a good thing?) Still want to buy more headphones though (I'm addicted)

Agreed, iancraig10, I like the rolled off treble, and the isolation Planning to upgrade my source and get an amp in the future, these dont sound like they're being driven properly, but they do still sound nice

I mainly listen on Spotify these days, since I don't have the money to go out buying CDs every week lol
