I'm really considering the Schiit Mjolnir but I've never tried balanced. Burson HA-160 and Icon Audio HP8 MK2 are cheaper and can be a valid option too.- wizia

The Audeze LCD-2 Ortho thread (New)
Hi there, new happy owner of the LCDs here. I haven't tried them yet (weird, I know) but in the meantime I have a question. I see the phones come with a mini-xlr to 1/4" jack cable and another mini-xlr to 4pin XLR. Are these cables any good?- wizia

What headphones for this kind of music? High budget
No chance of trying any high end phones here. That sucks, let's see what others have to say. The Audeze are very expensive 1000€ so unless I find some 2nd hand they are not an option.- wizia

What headphones for this kind of music? High budget
One very important thing I didn't mention is my current headphones. I'm getting rid of them but maybe it can give some indications. Beyerdynamic DT880 (very good overall, comfy and good sound) -> maybe T1's? AKG K701 (barely used them. They lacked punch for electro imo)- wizia

What headphones for this kind of music? High budget

From Essence ST to Gamma2/others, worth upgrading?
After half a year with this card I'm suffering from upgraditis. The ST is pretty good for the money but I think my headphones can deliver more. My experience with sources is rather low, I went from X-Fi card to the ST and that's it. I listen to all kind of genres and my music is mostly...- wizia
