Not necessarily true, for my case anyway. Got JH13FP not too long ago, but despite the 10/10 score from joker and how everybody says how good they sounded, but I dont feel anything special, as a matter of fact they almost got no ear time from me. But, OTOH, the lab1 is truly something special...

Try the lab1 if you could find one Mike, makes other top tier IEMs sounds artificial.. enter lab1, the tera version of iems (without the rolloffs):)

You guys were right on the money about the LAB=) too bad stock eartips fitting is as not as comfortable as CIEM, ears got a bit tired after couple hours of usage.   PS: I can't believe how resolving the LAB1 is until I heard it myself, how is it possible that vocal is so life-like? they now...

Sorry, but you really can't compare pfx and lab1.. they are 2 totally different phones designed for different purposes.. I will get the lab1 by tomorrow and will see how it fares against SpiralEar SE5. One person, that opinion I highly regard, put the lab1 above his UERM.. interesting :)

I like um3x more than w4.. w4 sounds too flat and not as emotionally involving as the um3x

Broken, after just 2 weeks. But, Grzegorz did an amazing job, only took him 1 week to built me a new pair from scratch. It's my favorite and the only go to iem for now. Makes my kaede, pf x, and togo334 collecting dust lol. Damn it SE5.. Get a TP Lee. the combination is truly amazing!!

It's hard to say.. but my old SE5 has much more impact on the sub bass region that I miss! :p. Then again I feel the new SE5 is a tad bit smoother and more layered. Then again I don't AB.. it's all going by memory lee.. PS: but the very nice bass rumble is definitely missing on my new pair...

SE5 is great, but... my old SE5 has much more bass rumble compared to my new SE5.. would be very interested to try the NT6 pro more than the fitears.. as I found the sound signature of fitears can be fatiguing after prolonged listening session, IMHO.

Very nice review Tupac!! The SE5 and 1+2 comparison is really spot on with what I heard as well.. The organic lush and natural sound of SE5 is just so intoxicating and hard to resist :p Now time to get Miracle and hear what is your take on it :p

Have to say that I prefer AK120 with the SE5.. has more power, dynamism, and overall "meatiness".

I don't like RWAK100 with SE5 too. .. But, with AK120 is a whole different story ;)

I prefer the AK120's SQ over ak100 mod by far as well... It's more 'lively' and you could hear the layering more easily as well...
