    Switching to aptx was my first idea to try to mitigate the issue and it failed. There were fewer drops indeed but they still remained extremely random and were not related to the number of Bluetooth devices around.

    I am more inclined to believe that there is something going on with Samsung phones or their Bluetooth settings. Correct me if I am wrong but it seems that almost everyone posting here have recent S-series phones and started having issues almost simultaneously. Might be some unmentioned update...

    Mine are on their way back to seller. With that price tag it is unacceptable to have that many issues. Might as well get back to good old cable as it seems there are no adequate TWS modules for high end IEMs
