Cayin RU7: 1-Bit Resistor Network Dongle DAC /Amp

Just picked up the RU7. When I adjust the volume on my iPhone it's opposite. Pressing down on my iphone 15, it increases the volume and vice versa. Anyone else have this same issue and know a fix?

Topping A70 Pro or other powerful amps with IEMs

Wow took some time to look through the audiosciencereviews, super useful. Was honestly really clueless about amp/dac measurements haha. Thanks a lot :)

CanJam New York 2024 Impressions Thread (March 9-10, 2024)

Anyone who tested the Elysian Pilgrim and is also familiar with the Diva think it's still worth purchasing Diva now? Was just about to pick it up the Diva and then read about the Pilgrim so don't now what to do now haha..

Topping A70 Pro or other powerful amps with IEMs

Ah thank you for the insight really appreciate this. The 70 series has more power than I would ever need which I felt was kind of a waste but the new design and display made it super enticing. Going to check out the 30 series stacks and maybe even the new A50 III that just came out and get one...

Topping A70 Pro or other powerful amps with IEMs

Has anyone used such a powerful amp with IEMs? Was thinking about getting the A70/D70 stack for both my headphones and IEMs, but lowkey worried about accidentally turning the knob and blowing my brains out with IEMs lol

    Elysian Diva in 2024?

Thinking about making the Kilobuck jump. Do you guys think Diva is still a top contender? Lowkey also a tad worried about QC issues too not sure if that's a thing for Elysian still.. Happy to hear other notable Kilobuck recommendations :) Doesn't have to be tuning specific!

    Advice for a newbie

Hard to say since everyone has different preferences. I would recommend checking out Jay's buying guide. Super helpful for me. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1XQtSH90BGK99Vij3dXcSylfwcut5XerPbkkEksFwATA/edit#gid=0

    Advice for a newbie

Gain between 1-2kHZ is pretty aggressive so gives the liveliness is my guess. Honestly would recommend jumping to $300-500 and call it done. If you're still not sure what type of sound you like then you can buy a few more cheapies. Haven't tried any of those that you mentioned unfortunately

    Advice for a newbie

Graph looks to show LM has less bass and more Treble.

    IEM Upgrade recommandations needed

Been having a bass itch recently but Hades graph legit scares me haha. Have the LM good overall for price. Excellent bass snappy and not bloaty. Res is great but at the sacrifice of treble being grainy and sharp sometimes.

    Advice for a newbie

Think the default rec at this price has become EA500LM by most. Although it is a few dollars more. Strength: Above average resolution. Bass is good and snappy but not over bearing IMO. Weakness: Treble is grainy and slightly sharp at times, a sacrifice for the resolution.
