Feliks-Audio ELISE...New thread.
I found a matched pair of GE 6AS7GA for 100€ and one matched pair of GEC 6AS7G for 350€. Unfortunately I don't know how they test, but they are supposedly both unused. For now I would match both them with the stock driver tubes (might get some NOS ones though if I find something nice). Any...- funkyfish

ZMF Atrium - new open-back co-flagship
If I understood Zach correctly, the LTDs will be available until all the wood is gone and he estimated that that would be the case in May. So, no fixed date afaik. I might be wrong though. And they don't always have LTDs.- funkyfish

ZMF Atrium - new open-back co-flagship
I have not yet seen anyone posting a picture of a LTD '24, but I ordered an Atrium Open with Canarywood and will post pictures as soon as I got it. According to my dealer it should be here in 2 or 3 weeks — hopefully. Ordered it 9 weeks ago and delivery is getting delayed again and again, so…...- funkyfish

Cayin HA-300MK2 (2022) TOTL Transformer coupled Direct Heated Triode Tube HeadAmp (Page 91)
I did not touch them, but when I put my hand close to the amp, I only feel some warmth. Sure, the tubes themselves get hot, but they would definitely not heat up the room.- funkyfish

Cayin HA-300MK2 (2022) TOTL Transformer coupled Direct Heated Triode Tube HeadAmp (Page 91)
I have a Feliks Audio Elise at the moment, which does not get hot at all, just a little bit warm, that's why I am asking. Not sure what people mean with "hot" in regards to the HA300 :)- funkyfish

Cayin HA-300MK2 (2022) TOTL Transformer coupled Direct Heated Triode Tube HeadAmp (Page 91)
Hey everyone, I'll be moving to LA next year and was planning to get the HA300. Main reason (apart from all of you raving about it) is that it can also be used for speakers. Primary use would definitely be for headphones, but I would also connect high sensitivity speakers to it. What I am just...- funkyfish

The ZMF Limited Release Picture Repository
Shameless ad: I created (and still am working on) https://www.hifilog.com and those custom ZMF headphones were one of the reasons for it. People can add all variants of a given headphone and upload pictures of _their_ ZMF headphone. That way there could be a big database of all ZMF headphones...- funkyfish

I did. First it was one week (which seemed weird to me), then end of April, now mid of May. But thanks for mentioning that, so I can mentally prepare :)- funkyfish

Terribly long waiting time at the moment… Ordered my LTD Edition Canary via the official german dealer mid of March, but they think I won't get it before mid of May :( Seems like ZMF is quite busy at the moment.- funkyfish

McIntosh MHA200 Impressions
Interestingly, two weeks after I wrote this, I think much more about the MHA200 than the WA5. Yes, the WA5 sounded more magical in that moment and I was missing something in the MHA200, but I now barely remember the sound of the WA5. Instead the engaging and effortless sound of the MHA200 is...- funkyfish

McIntosh MHA200 Impressions
I listened to the MHA200 at The Source AV for a while, mainly with my HD650, a little bit with the Audeze LCD-2, for a very brief moment with the Meze 109 Pro (couldn't stand their treble peak) and just shortly with the DCA ÆON 2 Noire (I think, forgot to ask haha). I don't have a lot of...- funkyfish

Fezz Audio Omega Lupi

New McIntosh MHA200 Headphone amp
I visited The Source AV today (hi Jason!), mainly to check out phono stages. Jason recommended me a McIntosh phono stage, and that way I somehow stumbled upon the MHA200. For some reason I always had an aversion to McIntosh, but that old school look is really something… and since I have a bunch...- funkyfish

What is the best EQ software for Mac and iPhone?
I don't think you can access the ones that SoundSource comes with, but you can create your own txt files anywhere on your computer. The presets can be found here: https://github.com/jaakkopasanen/AutoEq/tree/master/results.- funkyfish

What is the best EQ software for Mac and iPhone?
Ah, I see. I remember I also had issues in that regards (maybe it was the same) and then went for the txt files. Has the nice side effect that you have a backup of your EQ presets as well, since you have plain txt files on your computer.- funkyfish

How are you using the EQ? I created txt files with the params (including Q) and select those via "Headphone EQ" -> "Add Other Profile".- funkyfish

Next time I will definitely take at least one more pair… I'm afraid the tube amp needs to stay home though. And yes, it's always time for another pair! Maybe you will go on a spontaneous trip ;)- funkyfish
