@vikinguy The midrange is not recessed but rather slightly laid back, which makes listening to energetic music genres comfortable. The vocals, especially female vocals, are sublime, as you will hear for yourself.- atechreviews

No problem, and welcome to the club! 😄 I am treble-sensitive but not sensitive to upper mids. It's great that you have other flagship IEMs for accurate comparisons. When you get them, ensure a deep insertion and achieve a good seal by experimenting with the different ear tips. Personally, I use...- atechreviews

Review by 'atechreviews' on item 'Celest Relentless'
Introduction I recently had the opportunity to try out the Celest Relentless, a 7-driver hybrid in-ear monitor (IEM) known for its exceptional sound quality and craftsmanship. This IEM features a unique hybrid driver configuration, with an 8mm dynamic driver and 6 custom balanced armature (BA)...- atechreviews

Wow, under $100? That's amazing! I actually liked the name Performer 3. I love how AFUL always uses innovative tech in their IEMs. And it looks beautiful too!- atechreviews

I have the MEST MK III CF edition, and I'm not sure if there are differences between that and the regular version. Both the MEST MK III and the Glacier offer a great sense of surround sound and holography, but the presentation is different. I can definitely understand what people mean by the...- atechreviews

DUNU - Discussion/Impressions Master Thread
My experience matches yours in a couple of ways! First, the Glacier's insertion depth is deeper than most IEMs I use, which gives me a good seal and is important for the bass and treble. Also, I usually go for XL ear tips on both sides, but with the Glacier, I often find myself using large or...- atechreviews

Hey there, sorry for the delay in getting back to you; I didn't notice your message earlier. I have to say, the Glacier's bass has always sounded correct and just right to me from day one. I'm not sure if it has changed in any way; if it has, I probably wouldn't have noticed, since it's possible...- atechreviews

Hey there, sorry for the late reply; I didn't see your message earlier. I've been using the DUNU Glacier as my daily driver since I got it, and I'm loving it more and more every day. Whether the 's' and 'sh' sounds are emphasized can depend on personal sensitivity and preferences. But in my...- atechreviews

@vikinguy Ah, I see what you mean. Perhaps they meant it has a flagship-level tuning because it shares some tuning similarities with their flagship IEMs. I can definitely see the similarity here.- atechreviews

I had a similar experience with them, which is why I feel that their sound isolation is slightly less than that of other IEMs.- atechreviews

I concur with o0genesis0o. It's not shouty at all; if anything, as I mentioned in my review, it's a bit reserved. I would describe the upper midrange as restrained. It could be described as slightly recessed, a description I would agree with.- atechreviews

Alright, everyone, I could take some time listening to the GAEA and Pilgrim and share my impressions here if you're interested. If you're thinking about choosing between the DIVA and the GAEA, let me tell you, the DIVA is the truly impressive no question about it! It's one of those IEMs that...- atechreviews
