The x designation does indicate this is the latest version of the GW100. GW100x - Version 3 The V1 and V2 of the GW100 are virtually indistinguishable visually. Technical wise, slightly different.

Yeah, I can reason with that. My only concern would be their stock of older drivers on hand. Being they're out of production, I'm sure their numbers of OG, i, e, are non-existent or very low. Guess a note to self is don't buy the same headphone with different driver generations as the repair...

The only Grado that excels in bass is the PS500e, maybe even the OG PS500 or PS500X. Not a single model focuses on it, they’re not known for that I guess, the bass is still there however depending on the model. I have an SR125x that has a punchy bass accolade. I’m a huge believer in the RS1...
