Beauty indeed! I had similar thoughts when I changed the upgrade scarlet cable with the maple. It's nice but I usually like to be mobile with the scarlet and the maple is a bit too much for that.

Oh I know. But the manufacturer may want to keep the customers satisfied. This release seems to be turning customers off more than its worth. And they could still manage those things with small batch releases.

I have to say...as a small boutique shop they should not do the pre-order deal again. No one likes putting that much money out there to wait months for the product. Be better to just sell as batches become available. Would probably create more hype vs creating frustration.

I grabbed the traceless with the c type plug to use with phone. It's not a bad bud at all. But yea...my rikubud saber3 are in a different league. He makes some with same shell as monk plus.

sennheiser, jvc, and Panasonic manufacture buds in China. My point is Chinese buds are not inherently low quality. They will make whatever you ask them to make at whatever quality you pay for. QC varies but I wouldn't just broadly categorize Chinese buds as low quality.
