From my experience, even when I downshelf everything past 5kHz on storm -5db, I am still able to retain almost all of the subjective feeling of detail and dynamic contrast of the bass instruments/bass sounds overall. So I think there is something missing from this theory.

So what does it mean to let Mojo 2 do the upsampling? Are there any settings I need to turn off or on to get the full 768khz? EDIT: I can attach some screenshots to the things I'm used to changing.

I'm having some trouble trying to upsample to 768khz with the Mojo 2 in Roon. Am I supposed to use ASIO over WASAPI? ASIO doesn't recognize Mojo 2 but WASAPI does.

I have heard both MK2 and Storm and to me, they sound absolutely different from each other. I found the MK2 shouty, whereas with Storm I never had that impression at all. And even if the MK2 graphed exactly the same as Storm, it still could sound vastly different when actually inside a person's...

Is the Mojo 2 really a desktop dac replacement around the 600-700usd range? I've heard conflicting things and some say that it outright goes head to head with other dacs higher priced while some say something like a SGZ1 outperforms it. Is it really a replacement or just hype?

The only damped driver is the mid bass driver. I think everything else is undamped per their website

During my reply I also did my math wrong and put 9BA/2EST XD. Hopefully the community as a whole start to care less about # of drivers and more about the IEM's sound itself

What do you think it is about foam tips in general that produce a darker sound? Is it just insertion depth/front volume length? Or something inherent to the material itself?
