Like I said, it's apparently not an issue for me. All my music is transferred to each individual card by an artist folder, then all albums are added to that artist folder. My first micro SD card (TF Card 1)contains artist A-L, second card contains artist M-Z. When I add artist to it that aren't...- djohnson013

Please enlighten me here and forgive my ignorance! I see this posted quite a lot, but why is the 5800 song limit so important to everyone? I have two 200GB cards installed and both are almost full. Without checking correct numbers, I would say well over 10,000 songs. So if the software did...- djohnson013

Oppo PM-3 : The Portable Planar - Impressions
After using the headphones for the past two months now, I am quite pleased with their performance. I now want to try a couple of cables to see how they enhance the sound. So what is the majority rule on what to try? If I can, I would like to stick with in the USA orders only. A few...- djohnson013

When you turn the volume knob clockwise it should increase. Mine doesn't necessarily click, but you do feel a little bit of resistance between volume units. In other words, it just doesn't turn freely.- djohnson013

A silicon stick on rubber dot is what I use. Looks good and works great. I also use it on the back of the unit on all four corners for added protection when it is laid down on a surface.- djohnson013

I've noticed the battery indicator as well when I first got the player. But I am consistently getting close to 10 hours using flac and hirez flac only, so I'm not really watching the indicator at this point anymore. I think 10 hours for a class A amp is quite reasonable in my opinion. I don't...- djohnson013

Bart, First of all, just having a company representative reading a forum like this, let along answering questions, speaks volumes for their product. Show me another thread in this Head-Fi Forum for AK, Fiio, Onkyo/Pioneer, Cowon or Sony etc.. where the actual company rep has personally...- djohnson013

Bart, There is nothing wrong with the people in this thread. You come into a thread and trash a good device that you don't even own. Matter of fact, I looked up your posts in other threads that you posted in, and it appears you are condescending in those as well. According to your profile you...- djohnson013

Review: Questyle Audio QP1R - With Multiple Headphone and IEM Pairings
The SD card will only go in one way, and that's with the metal strips facing upwards. You will have to use your finger nail to push the card in all the way, and then it will lock in place.- djohnson013

Review: Questyle Audio QP1R - With Multiple Headphone and IEM Pairings
Question? When adding music to this player, after I disconnect the USB cable I don't really have to go back into settings and do a manual update media library since I already browse by folder anyway. I just added some more songs to it and I'm about 100 songs short of the 5800 cap. After adding...- djohnson013

If that's the case, then the 5800 limit probably won't be an issue for me at all. I find and play all my music in the browse files only. Thanks for the info guys. David- djohnson013

Jerry, I am curious as to what happens when you exceed the 5800 song limit? I am approaching that limit now with only a couple of hundred more songs to go. David- djohnson013

Wow, I though Questyle was showing exceptional customer support. How many other companies out there would have offered to refund your money. I have put a little piece of felt on the wheel to assist it in turning as well as being able to visually see it turn. It has at least a couple of thousand revolutions on it by now. I would just turn it as I was listening to music to try and break it in. It has not gotten any easer to turn and...- djohnson013

It's a standard micro USB cable. However at the port where you plug it into the player, is not large enough to accept a standard size cable. Out of probably 20 cables that I had access to, I found one at work that fit. Other than that you will have to modify the cable by triming it. Besides that...- djohnson013

Shure SE846 Impressions Thread
I have owned the Westone W4's for about five years now and have loved them. I like the fit and sound quality. I bought the Shure SE215's when they first came out, only to try their fit. Obviously they were a step backward from the W4's in sound quality. Bought them mostly for mountain biking...- djohnson013

buke9 You know I was in the same boat when I first got this player a week ago. At first I thought my unit was defective because it wasn't paging while I was turning the wheel. Need recommendations for most neutral/accurate yet musical and enjoyable IEM in sub $1,000 range (going over is okay if it's really worth it)
I am kind of in the same boat. I bought the W4's about 5 or 6 years ago and they went through the wash as well. However mine survived and didn't go through the dryer. I put them in rice immediately for a week and they have worked perfect since. I don't think you mentioned what source you are...- djohnson013
