My Ibasso can power the Scarlets fine, but I need to boost the volume quite high to get to listenable levels for me, plus it drains the battery fast as well. Also, the only terminations I have on my Ibasso are 3.5 and 2.5, and after demo'ing the R4 and Canjam, I just couldn't help but pre-order one.

Currently running my Scarlets on my Ibasso DX120, but I'm planning to upgrade my DAP to a Hiby R4 soon.

From what I heard there are other color modules that are in the works, not sure when they might release them in the future but I do agree that the blue module might not match with a lot of Fatfreq's faceplate designs.

I've never liked Dunu SnS tips, they always gripped to my ears too much, making them really uncomfortable to wear after half an hour or so.

So long as QC is there, I don't mind the long waiting times, though with Fatfreq being as small as they are and the huge backlog they have, some QC issues will slip through the cracks whether they like it or not.

The upgrade cable for the Scarlet Mini is pure silver. I compared it with Fatfreq's stock copper cable and I found the sound frequency to remain relatively unchanged for my part.

If we're talking about powering the Scarlet Minis, then most decent DAPs should be able to do the job. Heck, I can even power them with my Fiio KA13 dongle on my phone with no problems and they still managed to scale quite well. I'm not too well-versed when it comes to pairings though.

I've been seeing less to no complaints recently regarding their QC, now is mostly about shipping times as they're struggling to catch up with their current backlog.

Great choice of design, the cherise series is definitely one of my favourite faceplate designs from Fatfreq by far 👍. Definitely looks better in-person compared to the pictures based on what I saw in their showroom.
