I'm not sure but do you try to lock digital volume on your HIBY R3 PRO settings, maybe that helps, and you can control volume on your phone directly, popping is a know issue unfortunately on the bright side it seem that it's firmware related and fort a hardware issues so this may be corrected in...- needletalk

Hiby R6 Pro II (2023 Edition) - Launch, Hype, Thoughts & More
2 Well we leave it like that, it's just what I saw for the most part, sources are neutral, I don't have the ear to notice those tuning changes, technicalities may be more noticable. 3 My response is regarding those switchable modes of AMPs, class D amps are more efficient thus heat dissipation...- needletalk

Hiby R6 Pro II (2023 Edition) - Launch, Hype, Thoughts & More
Ok let's go. 1. Short answer No. 2. Not sure what to say here but there's no a HIBY sound sorta say. Just sound as is. 3. I guess, it's pretty normal it gets a little warm even in AB, class A definitely dissipates more heat. 4. Yeah, Band EQ and MSEB EQ system wide. 5. Google Play 6. Yeah, as...- needletalk

Hiby R6 Pro II (2023 Edition) - Launch, Hype, Thoughts & More
Just go a check some forums here about the user experience on A&K DAPs and you'll find out, you don't need to own every product, that's absurd, quality is something we consumers perceive, in that regard that's how industry views quality (it's not a fact set in stone), form an objective point of...- needletalk

Hiby R6 Pro II (2023 Edition) - Launch, Hype, Thoughts & More
Agree on this, honestly A&K gear is overpriced AF, I've experienced some DAPs and they're so disappointing, software experience is so bad, and sound quality is not that great, also specs wise always behind from the rest at those price brackets, for what I can tell about HIBY is that firmware is...- needletalk

For me is in my qobuz own playlists, the ones I make, if o do a playlist with 70 tracks for example, when I loaded my playlist it only shows the first added 50 tracks, also my favorite albums max out at 150 so only shows my latest added 150 albums, this limit I think also apply for favorite...- needletalk

I really like C2s too, but i didn't like how the 2 pin conector gets flimsy overtime, and the cable connection wiggles a little, some durability issue that for me is a drawback, maybe is just my unit.- needletalk

Oh I didn't experience that's, I also use Qobuz, but i experience a super loud pop sound when resume playing of MQA files or when a file gets oversample after an MQA plays if I resume that oversample track regardless of the format usually after standby time I get the loud pop sound, also on 3.5...- needletalk

I will do some testing as I didn't experience this issues myself, cuz I have a more simple folder organization system and smaller local library, about 900 songs in total, if the original developer came with a solution first a will take a look to his code changes and update my version ASAP.- needletalk

I'll take a look, maybe is some code on the folders listview, as I didn't modify this myself, you can go to GitHub and handle this issues to FaBjE, either way I will check the code and see if I found something, for what I understand, you got some folders rename on the list view and displaying...- needletalk

Hiby R3 Pro Portable Bluetooth DAP
I hope one day we get THE Firmware release, solving those small issues, for instance in my case the bugs to fix in 2.2 would be, the Tidal fav playlist crashing, the Qobuz limits 50 tracks on fav playlist and shows up to 150 fav albums you can't see your entire library. The oversampling issue...- needletalk
