One last update. I bought the Elixir and they are simply wonderful for classical music. Perhaps my favourite iem from a selection of many. Thanks again.

Which IEM have you been most disappointed by?

Similar experience regarding Crinnacle IEM 's. Sent the Zero Red back to Amazon. God bless Jeff Bezos's no quibble returns policy.

Wonderful review. In fact one of the most educative experiences I've had in a long time. Unfortunately as of March 2024 they are now discontinued according to Linsoul's customer service team. I've found a lone surviving unit for sale this morning and hit the buy button. I'm so fed up of...

Which IEM have you been most disappointed by?

Interesting responses thanks. I've often wondered about the Kato actually more so since I impulse purchased the Moondrop May last week on Amazon and have been seriously impressed.

Which IEM have you been most disappointed by?

Hi everyone, I've been purchasing headphones for many years and more recently have become interested in IEM's. Ive purchased many, some I've been personally underwhelmed with (Final E5000) and some cheaper ones Ive taken a punt on out of interest and have been blown away by the quality...

    Kiwi Ears IEM Thread

Ive acquired and passed over many iems and full sized headphones (mostly Grados) in the budget to mid sector trying to find an ideal headphone for classical. Ive been impressed and troubled in equal measure by Final Audio and AudioSense, got a bit focussed on single armature iem's for a while...

    upgrade from Fiio FH3...recommendations please

How about looking at the Fearless Audio S8Z. I have tried it, but unfortunately don't own it as it's a bit out of my budget. Given you like everything from green day to classical (exactly my preferences)you will need an iem that avoids excessive sub base and avoids excessive mid range and...

    Kiwi Ears IEM Thread

The Cadenza was the first iem I bought before I fell down the rabbit hole of iem purchasing! Great iem for the price and surprisingly good for classical actually. Way better iem than the Kiwi Ears Forteza which I cannot abide for any genre of music.

Most basshead IEMs with the best bang for bucks

Audiosense A0. Single DD. One of the best single dynamic iem I have owned sub 200 pounds. Randomly bought them recently following my t800 on an impulse purchase. They were in sale for 50 pounds. Extremely surprised. They have thunderous base that you can literally feel, it's quite unusual. Well...

For those of us with multiple headphones, which ones are you listening with now?

Hi - of course my pleasure. Its the cheaper of the three B series headphones from Final. It has a single balanced armature. I have two other single balanced armature headphones including the older F series from Final. This is completely different from the B2 and more what you would expect from a...

For those of us with multiple headphones, which ones are you listening with now?

Final B2. A dark sounding iem that manages to replicate for classical music, IMHO, the warm sounding reverb of a concert hall. I've never understood people saying repeatedly you need sparkly upper mids and treble for classical. I've visited countless concert halls from the Philharmonie in...
