I think wearing headphones in public looks dumb. So I opt for wired IEM's for pretty much any time I am outside - except for working out so I don't drop a 45 lb plate on the wires.

The AKG K553 II was my first pair of headphones ever and I can definitely vouch for them. They are pretty cheap too. To me they are like closed-back HD600s - they won't break any records, but they just sound right.

Some time ago it was the AKG K553 II. Despite being a cheap pair of closed-backs, it has such pleasant tuning that it certainly doesn't feel that way. It's a bit harsh in the upper ranges, but I can forgive that for just how cheap it is. It's the HD600 of my lineup.

If you're interested in trying another pair of ZMF headphones, I would definitely try the Atrium. I own a pair, and they are undoubtedly the warmest and most bass-oriented headphones I have heard. Despite this, it does not seem to sacrifice anything in other areas important to you e.g. soundstage.
