This is a must listen on the ndh30. Using with singxer amp. Hi-Res recording. This is why the ndh 30 is a different animal. Just wow!

Wow! You are 100 percent correct on all your observations of this recording. Listening via my ndh30 on a singxer amp. As good as it gets.

I probably mentioned this previously but i do think the SA1 sounds tighter with a bit more focus and detail when left on. Even a few hours after being initially turned on it is still not at its best. Of course its a subtle change but noticeable especially on a more relaxed sounding headphone...

Can anyone tell me how the s2 sounds on the singxer sa1 and or Rebel amp? Looking to purchase s2 when on sale. But need to know if they pair well with those amps. Thx

Wondering if Rebel is still in business. Been out of stock for a long time. They would usually post updates in their "news" section regarding the current situation. However nothing but silence. Update.... just sent an email to them for status.

As i said many times the monoprice destroys the drop 789. Don't understand how reviewers think they sound the same. Very noticable difference in lushness and dynamics. Monoprice upgraded the op-amps resistors, capacitors. Over 50 internal components were upgraded.

Hd600 needs a tube amp or class A amps that are tube like in sound character to sound it's best. Using it with class A Rebel amp and getting great results especially on tracks that take advantage of it's characteristics.

Got the best upgrade for my ndh30. Better bass detail, improved mids with more transparency and clearer highs. So what was the upgrade? Had my earwax removed by my ENT! Lol The difference not as pronounced on my other phones which was suprising.

Very underrated when it was going for $200. Btw it destroyed the 789. The only downside was the crappy pots that were used whch was also a problem with the 789.

Your ears are very sensitive to the slightest changes which especially are noticeable via headphones. Not nearly as much with speakers. For example people with allergies, pressure, sinus, wax etc. There are times im noticing decreased bass which completely corrects to normal after i swallow a...

Yeah i think easier to drive is the way to go on this amp. Which is very evident with the old very efficient 660s. Lots of headroom, excellent dynamics and sounds great with it. Again i have to say the Neumann ndh 30 is another great pairing.

Funny how tastes differ. I find that ndh30 excels on classical. Very spacious, natural, detailed with great seperation. Especially on hi res stuff. Can sound congested on elex and 6xx. Love hd600 on predominantly vocals.

Yes it definitely smooths out the sound of my elex. Good on some recordings but a bit too tame on others. Very different than my Rebel amp.

I can understand your position. Yes the hd600 which i also own is very natural very focused. However it can sometimes be too much of a good thing being a bit too crisp and lacking some weight. Using with my tube like class A Rebel Amp. Also my ndh 30 really shined when i switched to an 8 core...

fyi As you can see,very little gain balanced in single ended out.

Here's another observation. The ndh30 streaming hi res sounds especially better than my other headphones in that i find many hi res recordings to be a bit overdone, overly bright and unnatural. Not so with the Neumann's. They take full advantage of the increased resolution.

One observation with the ndh30. I find myself listening to the music as opposed to listening to the sound. It just doesn't draw unnecessary attention to itself.

Now that i know its compatible with my setup its a buy for me. Just have to save up $.
