    It really does depend on the work you want to have done - just contact Pavel at Vesper Audio for the up to date list of repairs/upgrades and cable choices....If you happened to pay the full retail price for yours, then you're only ever going to be pleasantly surprised at the 'bang for your buck'...

    They're a great sonic upgrade for around £19 (for a pack of three in either S/M/L) they make the IE800 ear pieces far less uncomfortable over longer listening sessions and because of the expandable nature of the foam they mould to your inner ear an keep out all external noise within a few feet.....

    I'd recommend fitting Comply Ear Buds (they have sets specifically designed for the IE800 IEMs) - they shape to your inner Ear and ensure every note of music gets through....

    I use the Comly (expanding) foam tips on my Vesper Audio mmcx modded IE800 set - great fit and steady placement no matter what the environment....

    Agreed - After Vesper repaired and modded mine to mmcx, I can use their Empathy cable and roll this with OEM cables from the IE900 range every so often....

    Perfectly understandable - I just missed the worst of the sanctions myself (posted the IEMs out the end of January and they returned (in perfect order) at the beginning of this month... Politics aside, @Vesperaudio is the ONLY company that replied to my e-mails and calls when I needed to...

    I have also just had @Vesperaudio convert my Sennheiser IE800s to mmcx with an upgrade to their Empathy Cable. The build quality is top of the line, the 2 mm twin-twist (hyperlitz) cable makes the slender Kevlar OEM runs look like cheap cotton thread in comparison... But the sound quality is...
