Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro X Anniversary model
I have had problems with the comfort of my right ear with the stock pads, they give an annoying itch, I think I will order DT-700 PRO X pads to try if they are more comfortable.- IXOYE

Hello Beyerdynamic, are you there??
I have DT1990, I like them, but the pad comfort could be better, they are to hard and shallow imo.- IXOYE

What would be natural upgrade from HD800?
Keep them and use PEQ, I have 800s and with 5db low-shelf bass lift they have more than enough bass.- IXOYE

Meze 105 AER looks very interesting, easy to drive as well it seems, personally I think they look sleeker than 109 👍- IXOYE

Violectric V222 and V202
I upgrade from RME-ADI 2 to V-222, V-222 has a warmer sound, is it better? for me it was, but I wouldn't spend money on it if I didn't have them to spare, the difference in sound is just a matter of nuance, like all high-end equipment.- IXOYE

RME ADI-2 DAC Thread
I have purchased Violectric V-222 amp and use RME ADI-2 as DAC, honestly the difference in sound is minimal, V-222 is slightly warmer in sound, but the quality is not better, just different, I assume the same difference applies to tube amps. My Violectric has more power, which I honestly don't...- IXOYE

Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro X Anniversary model
The DT-770 Pro X is a bass monster, even better than my DT-1770 pro, I highly recommend to listen to Budgie's first album with 770ProX- IXOYE

My experience with Crossfeed is that you lose a little soundstage but gain significantly less listen fatigue, but I think it's worth it, especially with 800s that already have an extreme soundstage. but I haven't experienced losing any bass at all.- IXOYE

I can't listen to headphones without using Crossfeed since I started using that option with my RME, it allows me to listen for hours without any fattique.- IXOYE

Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro X Anniversary model
I don't think burn in will make any huge difference, but EQ works wonders, I lowered the high peaks and added a -2db low-shelf from 100hz, which made them sound very balanced and suitable for serious music listening as well.- IXOYE

Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro X Anniversary model
I got mine yesterday, the build quality and comfort is excellent, but the treble pikes out of box was horrible, worse than my 1990 Pro imo, so the first thing I did was reduce them with EQ, after that they sounded ok. The bass, however, was superb, these are the first headphones I've owned that...- IXOYE

You got it right, ZMF is nowhere near in terms of sound quality, they are well built and comfortable, but nowhere near the quality of Sennhieser in terms of sound quality, Sennheiser is a big respected company, ZMF is in a basement in comparison.- IXOYE

Violectric V222 and V202
Interesting, I use RME ADI-2 FS as DAC with my V-222 and I can't imagine that anything else can sound any better, and RME offers more options than I can ask for, so i can't see why I should upgrade to something else.- IXOYE
