Audeze iSINE 10 & iSINE 20: Audeze releases two new IEM planar magnetic earphones

I added this filter to this EQ: Filter: ON PK Fc 18000 Hz Gain -6 dB Q 1.3704 I don't think the upper treble is as rolled off as the measurements suggest.

Audeze iSINE 10 & iSINE 20: Audeze releases two new IEM planar magnetic earphones

I made a "stock style" PEQ preset for people who already like the stock mid-focused sound of the iSine's. It should sound like a smoother version of stock and more bearable with vocals. (not following any targets like harman / ief / tilted diffuse field) Preamp: -3.1 dB Filter: ON PK Fc 1500 Hz...

Okay i will update the links. Sorry, I used Discord as the filehost but they don't seem to let you do that anymore.

Different side this time (Right last time, Left this time). I am currently talking with a friend who also has this exact same issue, it is the Right side for them. No memory of having dropped the ER3SE's or whatever. Not a severe issue because it only distorts when: - Inserting the left side -...

It is a different side this time. Swapping the cable sides does not make a difference sadly.

Anyone having a strange phenomenon with the ER3SE's where if the volume is loud enough, it will start to distort heavily (on one side)? Or, when you move the earpiece around, it will start to distort (on one side)? I had this happen on my other pair I had for around a year, until I got a...

Audeze iSINE 10 & iSINE 20: Audeze releases two new IEM planar magnetic earphones

Unfortunately I only have an iSine 10, but the frequency responses are similar, with the main difference being the iSine 20 has a dip at 4200Hz that the iSine 10 does not. @stmiller I have a new EQ! and this one i haven't changed in a month, so I'm pretty darn satisfied with it now. No more...

Audeze iSINE 10 & iSINE 20: Audeze releases two new IEM planar magnetic earphones

@stmiller New iSine 10 EQ. I've been gravitating towards more of a dynamic and fun sound. There are even more filters than before. Sorry about that! This also corrects the polarity too. Lemme know what you think. Unzip the zip and put all the txts in the same directory then load...

Audeze iSINE 10 & iSINE 20: Audeze releases two new IEM planar magnetic earphones

I've been perfecting the eq over the months. to my ears the entire frequency response sounds flat in a tone generator, the end result is outstanding. it sounds amazingly natural now.

Audeze iSINE 10 & iSINE 20: Audeze releases two new IEM planar magnetic earphones

I'm glad you like it. The EQ aims for a "studio sound" with extra low end and a little extra top end. I put an upper mid (1-3KHz) switch in the EqAPO file, having it on makes vocals shine, but it can sound shouty on some recordings, turning the switch off has a more "dynamic" sound, but...

Audeze iSINE 10 & iSINE 20: Audeze releases two new IEM planar magnetic earphones

Another EQ for the iSINEs, this improves upon the EQ I posted before. I've really done it now... See the file below. You will need to use EqualizerAPO for this, and it's a really complex EQ now. I have no idea about Peace, sorry, but it's worth the effort. See my earlier post for EqualizerAPO...

Audeze iSINE 10 & iSINE 20: Audeze releases two new IEM planar magnetic earphones

There are a few ways to do it, but this is how I did it... EqualizerAPO (barebones installation, WITHOUT the peace GUI), reads EQ settings from the file "config.txt" (located in "C:\Program Files\EqualizerAPO\config"), you edit this file using the Configuration Editor (C:\Program...

Audeze iSINE 10 & iSINE 20: Audeze releases two new IEM planar magnetic earphones

Try my eq for the Audeze iSine 10 guys (No CIPHER cable!) I eq'd it by ear to match the tonality of my Etymotic's (super smooth). Sounds awesome. Less-precise, parametric EQ: Preamp: -6.2 dB Filter 1: ON PK Fc 921 Hz Gain -5.5 dB Q 0.820 Filter 2: ON PK Fc 1474 Hz Gain -4.3 dB Q 2.980 Filter 3...

Nice! Your EQ is cool. My Etymotic setup has gotten quite convoluted, but overall I have been super happy with it, I got these 4 months ago and every day they always amaze me. I'm a huge sucker for flat bass, so I tend to keep the bass on my ER3SE's unEQ'd. I use hybrid tips that create a...

does anybody know what to do about standard etymotic tips when they lose their grip onto the earphone after you take them off a few times? i have so many pairs that would be otherwise perfectly usable tips but they always slip off the stem (with no significant effort, such as when taking them...

Hi, I had the same issues with the ER2SE and the ER3SE was a huge improvement in this area. I would try the ER3SE or ER3XR because they're 59 dollars on Adorama with these links: https://www.adorama.com/etyer3se.html?emailPrice=t https://www.adorama.com/etyer3xr.html?emailPrice=t (69 dollars)

You can match the frequency response but it won't sound the same. ER3 will still sound less bright and more "dynamic". I haven't been able to figure out why the ER3SE sounds like this given how it measures. I use an adjustable resistor cable with mine. 3SE is hard sounding without around 50+...

To be fair the ER2SE measures with the most linear bass out of the SE/SR Etys, but it has bad bass decay and bad bassline clarity making it sound strangely "muddy". The bass quality is probably one of the worst I've heard in a DD, the bass decay was so bad I noticed it without even comparing it...

2SE just sounds like a cheap DD with the Etymotic tuning. it has none of the resolution or speed that the 3SE has. I would only recommend an ER2 if you would like a "smoothed over" relaxing sound, but it's nothing amazing compared to the ER3.

You can do it however way you want, as long as you get the foam under the bottom flange Because the default tips lose their grip after you take them off a few times, the best way is to take off the cable, put the foam donut around the body of the Ety, push it into place under the bottom flange...
