are the sr-60s a good upgrade from the portapros?
I've had SR-60's for a long time. I recently purchased a pair of PortaPro's to A/B them with the SR-60's. Although they were similar, I found the SR-60's to have tighter bass and better mids. But I'm not sure you're going to get the night and day difference that some are suggesting. IMO...- KRSone

I've lived a substantial amount of time in all three areas (SF, LA, and OC). That being said, there is generally more outdoors type of stuff to do in the Bay than there is in LA (aka Bay is woodsy, LA is for the most part a desert). SF bay area is cleaner and safer than LA area for the most...- KRSone

How long does Grado take for repairs?

Amazon has those Naxos Greatest CD's for $8, the Mozart one is decent and can you let you know what works you particularly like, and at that price you can grab yourself a couple from other classical-period composers, maybe Beethoven or Haydn. -
