    Munich High-End 2023 Impressions Thread (May 18-21)

Hey, I was there last year and the biggest IEM sections from what I saw and remember were from Letshuoer, Campfire and Moondrop. I also listened to some Final IEMs, and some Collab IEMs by Astell&Kern. Sennheiser had their IEM lineup as well. Looking at the brand register this year, 64 Audio...

    The discovery thread!

That same half of Head-Fi has also hasn’t had a single case of burn-in making an IEM worse for some reason

    The discovery thread!

I still haven’t listened to a single one of my IEMs, they’re all burning in still. Might listen to them once I’m an old man myself and I understand the magic.

    Vegan friendly headphone list

Hello, I asked Austrian Audio regarding their Composer, and this is the reply they sent me. Since protein leather is made with eggshells as far as I know, they aren’t an inclusion on the list, but I thought I’d leave the reply anyways for future reference.

    Munich High-End 2023 Impressions Thread (May 18-21)

I personally loved the Stax flagship, having heard them for the first time. Biggest disappointment was by far the Campfire Audio stuff, I wouldn't buy the Trifecta for 300 let alone the 3000 they're asking.

Symphonium Audio - New Singaporean IEM Manufacturer

Having both of them I prefer the meteor for most stuff, the bass hits harder and the treble is less fatiguing while still being very well extended. Only the lower mids can be a bit overshadowed by the bass on the meteor sometimes. Meteor also sounds more natural to me, where the IE600 has some...

Symphonium Audio - New Singaporean IEM Manufacturer

I did, to Germany. I ordered directly from Symphoniums Website. The only European reseller I’m aware of is Elise Audio in the UK.

After asking I was told to use the Dan Clark Audio option since its the same price, and then say its for A2DC in the order notes. Its been a while though so I'm not sure if it's still the same! Best to ask.

XENNS (previously known as Mangird) Impressions Thread

Got mine today, so gonna post some pictures. I just got them so not much listening has been done yet, but on first impression the Bass sounds immediately more punchy and the presentation as a whole feels more forward. The original sounds a little bit darker. There's also an increased sense of...

Cayin RU6: R-2R USB Dongle DAC with Head-Amp

Just received mine today after reading through most of this threads pages. I got very curious about R2R, so I decided to just try it. I haven't had the chance to listen too much yet, but I'm enjoying the combination with the MEST MKII a lot so far. A very comfy sound. Between NOS and OS I prefer...
