I already expressed my initial disappointment with BQEYZ Wind, but I am glad I didn't send it to classifieds right away as it turned into a real gem. What I did was get rid of stock tips and cable, and give it a burning-in period. And now I am enjoying the exciting detailed sound they produce...

Anyone used Linsoul's gift cards? If I buy an item for only a part of what the gift card is worth, do I lose the card anyway?

I just learned it the hard way that you shouldn't rely on the first batch of reviews but wait for them to pile up before calling shots.

Funny how you get them glowing reviews at first and then finally a regular person gets to leave an impression and be like IDK what all the fuss is about, it is another generic IEM in a sea of plenty. No wonder chi-fi is thriving lol

Just got the Wind and... I now understand why people sometime refer to them as lean. They are super tip dependent. Stock tips didn't work for me at all. When rolling custom tips I initially thought that the shorter the tip the better BC drivers should work. But nope! Sound in short (wide) Sancai...

Will likely go for R1 as well. Wind and Chopin were higher on the list, but I suspect Wind's bone conduction novelty might not last, esp with the price in mind, and Chopin has a dodgy shell.
