In some sense the hate is also the product of how a specific KZ "rep" approach other reviewers that critics their product. And that "reviewers" take became its own echo chamber. What I don't understand is when some manufacturer did what KZ did, those reviewers are silent, but when its about KZ...- XerusKun

Nice views. This takes me back to a time where I'm simply stunned by one of KZ's single DD IEMs. That IEM is the EDA Series (specifically the Balanced one), first time hearing the EDA Balanced I was speechless, I cannot take them of my ears due to how clear they sound and how female vocals pops...- XerusKun

If you find that removing the filter fixes the problem, its better to a buy a replacement filter or just leave it as is (but there's a chance of wax build up). If you find the glue residue remove them and just return the original filter back using tweezers, align the filter on the nozzle. I...- XerusKun

Try to remove the filter if it will change anything. Use needle or tweezer (if possible). Check for any residual glue on the nozzle.- XerusKun

Nice nice EQ good! Though let me help you discover more sound signature. Currently, this is what your EQ looks like. If this is done by ear, quite nice, I'm quite amazed that you've reduced the peaks. Your EQ definitely sounds better, no doubt. Though as an experiment, let us follow one...- XerusKun

Yeap, I'm curious what will happen if an impedance adapter is added to this IEM, looks like it has the infamous 1kHz BA boost like the AS16 Pro etc.- XerusKun

Just sharing. For those who want to get or curious about Krila, there is a competition going on in kztws.com in which they will give you Krila for $1 in exchange of a comprehensive review. https://www.kztws.com/products/kz-krila-1 In all honesty this is a risky move by KZ..- XerusKun

So CCA Pianist measurement has just been released.. Traced it, looks promising.. assuming they measured it with foam tips on, we can expect more peak with silicone tips.- XerusKun

I had the same reaction lol. If this Castor is CCA Duo but with 3-5 db more bass it will be instabuy, though I should have waited.🥲 There's also another IEM alongside this Castor. Also looks interesting. 1DD+2BA Though no measurements yet. Out topic though, I kinda want to see KZ venture into...- XerusKun

Tyvan should just settle or step down and let other staff from KZ do the negotiation with reviewers or PR in general. You are right this would not be such a big issue if Tyvan didn't fight fire with fire. Not gonna lie, it seems that all this drama is just to see who has the biggest ego, when...- XerusKun

Its perfectly timed.. I think DeeeMeSi even teased in twitter that some company is trying to bribe him for review over a week or two ago, its weird that he releases that video and confirm who it is right after the launch of some certain product. Actually I don't find the PR1 B and HiFi detailed and I also find it to be too spicy in the upper treble, D-FI is actually more competent when it comes to details imho. Back to DUO, there's some instances of upper treble hotness in some tracks, mid treble has good presence same with lower...- XerusKun

Nope, only D-FI, EDA series, PR1 and other KZ oldies. I don't buy an IEM with unconventional or non linear magnitude response anymore like CVJ Mei. I've learn it the hard way when I bought Acoustune RS1 which is boasted to have good "tech", its just mud and harshness. Though Krila I'm tempted...- XerusKun

This is very good!!.miles better than QKZxHBB Khan which I sold immediately due to how low res they are. This doesn't have the weird bass that the Zero Blue and Khan has its just very nice bass, very tight and punchy, its actually hard to know where they crossover the Bass DD just by listening...- XerusKun

They really nail the tuning on these. Plus their High Mid DD seems to be more linear in the upper treble than the other dual DD IEM.- XerusKun
